So some of you may be wondering, "Where is Alix staying right now?" If you weren't, you are now! Anywho, I knew that I would be arriving in Melbourne a week earlier than I needed to be here. This meant that I needed somewhere to stay since I couldn't move in to my dorm yet. I had originally planned on paying for a hotel, even though that would have been outrageously expensive, what choice did I have? Alas, before I booked anything, Mrs. Davis swooped in to the rescue and told my mom and I about a website called Airbnb. My mom and I searched and searched on this website to find someone to stay with that didn't look as though they were going to steal my belongings...and possibly me. We eventually found a very nice guy named Brett who had advertised a room in his place on here. Brett is extremely nice and helpful. If you ever need a place to stay in Melbourne, then I highly recommend staying here. I have been his first guest so we're both kind of getting the hang of this whole thing together. The room is very nice and I have enjoyed my time here quite a lot. I am a block away from the tram which is very convenient and I don't have to walk a long ways. Also, the room is quite nice as well. Although, I spend more time in here than I probably should...
